Dr. Binoy Singh
Binoy K Singh is the Associate Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at Northwell Health – Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He serves as Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Hofstra University. He has a busy clinical, non invasive cardiology practice based in Westchester County and New York City as part of Northwell Health Physician Partners. He was recruited from Columbia University College of Physician and Surgeons and Columbia University Medical Center in 2012 after being there for 7 years. Prior to that he was with St Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospitals, Continuum Health Partners Health System in New York City.
Binoy completed his B.Sc. in Bio-medical Engineering from Boston University, Boston, MA. He attended medical school at Drexel University, College of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He completed his clinical post graduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine at MCP/Hahnemann University Hospitals in Philadelphia, PA. He was awarded numerous teaching and service awards during his post graduate training.
Binoy is an entrepreneurial clinical cardiologist with biomedical engineering background. He has interest in healthcare system integration, new healthcare technology ventures, healthcare service and system management strategies, and business development initiatives. He has demonstrated success in developing new health care technical and imaging applications, clinical practice growth initiatives, and business development opportunities. Additionally, his compassionate clinical expertise and service has earned him regional and national recognition. Most recently, he was honored by Open Door Foundation for Service and Partnership.
Binoy serves on advisory boards for a number of healthcare companies who focus on developing innovative technologies to address society’s healthcare needs. He also serves on the Boston University College of Engineering’ Dean’s Leadership Advisory Board. He is the founder of the Imagineering Lab at Boston University College of Engineering. Most recently, Binoy has been instrumental in developing the Boston University Biomedical Engineering Teaching and Innovation Center. In 2011, Binoy was awarded Boston University’s College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award. In 2018, he was honored as Boston University’s Distinguished Alumni.
