Callie Nierenberg
Callie has spent her professional career helping children. She graduated from Villanova University and holds a Masters degree from George Washington University in Education and Human Development.
She focused her early career teaching in special education and working with underprivileged children in the DC area. Much of her free time was spent initiating a local girls group focusing on health, exercise and exposure to cultural experiences. She felt compelled to give economically disadvantaged girls a chance to experience events that they normally wouldn’t be able to, due to their economic status.
Callie is currently putting her energy toward raising her four young children. For the last eight years, with her husband, Callie has helped enhance and grow The Chance for Life Foundation. Chance for Life is an annual event that started 15 years ago to help educate the community on pediatric cancer and raise funding for research.
