Chance for Life works in partnership with all our grantees to raise awareness about pediatric cancer, the need for funding and the wonderful work being done to give children a Chance for Life. If this grant is awarded, Chance for Life will promote the awarded project, the work of the researchers and the institution that houses their research.
If awarded, please indicate that you (as the Recipient) will approve the following trademark agreement:
The Recipient hereby grants to Donor a fully paid, royalty-free, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right and sublicense to use, in the United States, certain of the Recipient’s trademarks, service marks, design marks, taglines, logos, artwork and other original and copyrightable materials for use in press releases and/or publication. Donor acknowledges and understands that the Recipient’s intellectual property is the property of the Recipient or its licensor, including any and all associated goodwill, and the Recipient or their licensor as the case may be, retains all right, title and interest in and to the Recipient’s intellectual property not granted under this Agreement. All use of the Recipient’s intellectual property shall inure to the benefit of the Donor and shall immediately and automatically expire upon the expiration of this Agreement. The Recipient and Donor agree that any use of the Recipient’s trademarks, service marks, design marks, taglines, logos, artwork and other original and copyrightable materials shall be subject to prior written approval by the Recipient, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, the Recipient hereby approves use by the Donor of the Recipient’s trademarks, service marks, design marks, taglines, logos, artwork and other original and copyrightable materials for general marketing purposes.
